Curación con delfines en la Gran Isla de Hawái, 2016
The day I received the email to swim with wild dolphins in Hawaii, my immediate response was a resounding "Yes!" I had no idea the magical world of wild dolphins was even accessible.
Wild dolphins? Yes, out in the open sea, not confined to pools or aquariums. We also swam with pilot whales and a humpback whale that passed beneath us.
For four days off the coast of Kona, Big Island, we swam and connected with these beautiful beings. In the afternoons, we embarked on a 6-day healing journey with renowned dolphin expert Joan Ocean, studying dolphin consciousness, water energy, and their interactions with humans. Lisa led group BodyTalk sessions and meditations.
It couldn't get better—until it did. On the first day, we were greeted by a joyful group of 50+ spinner dolphins, and later swam with 200 bottlenose and spotted dolphins.
Joan Ocean, who has been swimming with these dolphins for 25 years, names them based on unique characteristics. Many of them came to greet us like family.
Our group experienced profound, harmonious connections with these playful, evolved beings. We felt a heightened state of bliss and love, with many undergoing life-changing healings. We became a synchronized "pod"—just like the dolphins—experiencing play, protection, collaboration, and love. We left forever changed, assisted by these beings on our journey to wholeness.
This was the most harmonious group I’ve ever traveled with. Even during challenges, there was a flow and heart openness. Reflecting on my intentions, I released fear and self-imposed limitations. I’m forever connected to these dolphins, who I remember almost daily. It’s a journey worth experiencing.
Below is a video from the third day of swimming with the dolphins.
